Emmy – A fantastic young horse

Emmy is a 2006 JC Registered, Bay Mare with a Star and RH cornet. She is an honest 16.0 1/2h on cement without shoes and goes barefoot. She has NO vices period, is turned out with a field full of mares and is great to trailer, clip etc. She is kind, honest, willing and eager to please and has never offered a buck/rear/bite/kick. She will require an intermediate rider, not for a beginner. She is an easy forward ride off your leg and very controllable as she goes in a rubber snaffle. Emmy is currently jumping around 3′ but can go on to 4′ and possibly more. She can go from hunters to jumpers to eventing, with a great jump, natural flying lead change, and is a nice mover. Emmy came off the track a year ago, has a great foundation, is very brave with no bad experiences and ready to do whatever! This mare is currently priced at $5000 but that will increase the longer she is in training with us.

Happy New Year! Mane Top is looking forward to having another fantastic year with some fantastic people and horses!

Mane Top Heads to SWVHJA Finals!

Mane Top is excited to see how our riders do this weekend at SWVHJA Finals! Our riders will be competing in the Pony and Hunter Seat Medal Finals. Please wish Mane Top the best of luck this weekend! If you want to come out and support our riders, we will be winning at the Virginia Horse Center in Lexington, VA.

Dixie Charm – Your DREAM pony!

Dixie is the sweetest pony in the barn. She is an A-rated quality pony but also loves to carry the baby beginners around the ring. This 8 y.o. welsh cross has a 10 jump no matter what distance, rider, or size jump you put in front of her. Dixie has a huge stride, a fabulous trot, and good changes.

She is currently being used for beginner through advanced lessons and showing on the SWVHJA circuit in the Medium Pony Hunters, in which she is currently ranked 1st. This mare is ready to be finished into a winning rated pony hunter.
